The Children's House would like to thank Ruth Gibson Clark for her donation to the school of two raised garden beds, a rain barrel, and a circular composter! We are so grateful to have these wonderful things to help our students learn about growing things, and taking care of the earth by conserving water and composting. Her father, John Gibson, was the original owner of these items, and he has been a friend of our school for many years. Ruth donated these items in his name.
We are also grateful for the manpower it took to bring these things from Ruth's house to the school. Thanks to Ron Watson and Kris Kritzer, two of our parents who volunteered their time and muscle on a Saturday afternoon, to bring these item to our school. Mr. Faulkner was also here, so he pitched in with a little bit more muscle to make sure everything got set up safely. Thanks to everyone for your efforts!
